Wilmington Man Arrested Following Tewksbury Motel 6 Shooting
A Dracut woman was also arrested after allegedly misleading and kicker an officer.
TEWKSBURY, MA – A Wilmington man who allegedly fired a gunshot and a Dracut woman who allegedly kicked an officer were arrested Tuesday at a Tewksbury Motel 6.
Joseph Bodi, 29, of Main Street in Wilmington was arrested for armed assault with intent to murder, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a license and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. Leah Donovan, 30, of Wildrose Drive in Dracut, was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer, misleading a police officer, resisting arrest, and two warrants for shoplifting and larceny.
Police found a shell casing when they responded Tuesday to Motel 6 for a report of a shot being fired. When they watched the video surveillance, police say they saw Boldi and Donovan arguing with another male. Boldi allegedly took out a firearm and fired a shot. Police found Boldi outside a motel room and arrested him. A .22 caliber pistol was locating inside the vehicle he was operating, police said.
Donovan, who was approached by police, allegedly gave officers a false name, resisted arrest, and kicked a detective.

Boldi and Donovan were scheduled to be arraigned at Lowell District Court.
