Woman Who Stole Holiday Packages Admits Sufficient Facts
Jacqueline Suazo was homeless and pregnant when she turned herself into Tewksbury Police last year.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Jacqueline Suazo, 30, the Lawrence woman who was arrested in December for stealing packages from the porches of homes in Tewksbury, admitted to sufficient facts for a guilty finding on three counts of larceny under $250. Suazo had turned herself into Tewksbury Police after the department released surveillance footage from one of the homes she stole packages from. At the time of her arrest, Suazo was in her third trimester of a pregnancy and living in a homeless shelter.
Her case was continued nine months without finding, and Suazo was ordered to pay $20 in restitution. In a brief interview with the Lowell Sun, which first reported this story, Suazo was remorseful. "Everyone makes mistakes," Suazo said. "I'm sorry to the families that I did that to."
