YMCA To Offer Kids Recreation Programs In Tewksbury This Fall

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Greater Lowell YMCA will kickoff kids' recreation programs in the Town of Tewksbury beginning this fall.

The following statement from the town details those plans:

The Town of Tewksbury is pleased to announce that, in partnership with the Greater Lowell YMCA, youth recreational programming will be offered at the Recreation Center starting in September 2024.

Through the Town of Tewksbury, the Greater Lowell YMCA will offer seven-week fall youth recreation programs at the Saunders Recreational Facility and Fields, located at 286 Livingston Street, Tewksbury through October2024.

The YMCA will offer a variety of seven-week sessions including visual arts, ballet, and hip-hop for children ages 7-14, as well as parent and child sports and music classes. Residents of the Town of Tewksbury do not need to be YMCA members to register for these programs. Additionally, residents are given a dedicated registration period starting August 19 before the programs are open to YMCA members, and only if they do not reach capacity following that exclusive registration period. This initial offering will have five different seven-week offerings, with adult fitness programming announcements to follow once finalized.
