Led by researcher James Sampson, creator of Breaking Science, a science education organization that strives to engage non-scientists and facilitate their development of scientific critical thinking skills. Foster parenting is a service that allows people to assist needy children during times of crisis. Children come into care almost every single day in the Greater Lowell area. Hear from a foster parent and social worker about how you can make a significant, positive influence in their lives. The Massachusetts Department of Children & Families serves children of all ages — from infants to adolescents — from every community — who need a home. You can be single, married, partnered, divorced, or widowed. You can rent or own a home. Time spent with you in a stable and secure environment gives a child a chance to heal.
