The Wakefield Rotary Club recently installed its new officers and directors during a luncheon at Brightview Wakefield. In accordance with its by-laws, the service club elects new leadership annually to take office July 1st of each year.
2025-26 Club President Kathy Boyle concluded her Rotary year by thanking Wakefield members for their support, as she “passed the gavel” to incoming Club President Paul Adams.
The club also installed its incoming Board of Directors including President-Elect Wendy Maguire, Margie Daniels, Euwan Godfrey, Amy Luckiewicz, and Michael Sullivan. Boyle will serve on the Board as Immediate Past-President. Suzanne Bowering will serve as Club Secretary, Barbara Worley as Club Treasurer and Frank Fiorentino will serve as Sergeant-at-Arms. The new leadership team will serve until June 30, 2027.
The Rotary International theme for 2026-27 is Create Lasting Impact, under Rotary International President Olayinka Hakeem Babalola of Nigeria, noting the importance of working together and making connections to create lasting benefits to our local and global communities. At the international level, the president of Rotary International serves a one-year term, presiding over the larger organization’s governance and providing inspirational leadership for the organization.
