• Walpole Police Welcome New Officer Jack Rouhana (patch.com) — Residents in Walpole are being introduced to new hometown police officer Jack Rouhana, who just graduated from Fitchburg State University's police academy and is starting field training with the local department. A longtime Walpole resident and former high school football player and youth coach, Rouhana joins his older brother Justin on the force and says serving the town is a meaningful privilege.
   

• Jason Finkelstein keeps climbing (hometownweekly.net) — Walpole's own Jason Finkelstein, a Walpole High graduate, is turning a standout hometown sports career into college and Cape Cod League success, including a championship run with the Harwich Mariners. The Babson pitcher balanced an NCAA tournament appearance, a Dell internship, and time on Fenway Park's mound, continuing a proud line of Walpole-connected baseball and hockey talent.
