Friday, August 17 is Last Day to Register to Vote in Massachusetts State Primary Election
The Walpole Town Clerk's Office will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17 for voter registration. The state primary will be held Sept. 6.

Friday, Aug. 17 is the last day for voter registration for the Sept. 6 state primary election.
The Town Clerk's Office at will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17 for voter registration.
Usually the office is open on the last day of voter registration until 8 p.m., but under Section 51 of Chapter 239 of the Acts of 2012, the State has changed the registration session until 5 p.m. (instead of 8 p.m.) due to the fact that most town halls are closed or are only open until noon on Fridays.

The general election (which will include the presidential contest) will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6. The last day to register to vote in the general election is Wednesday, Oct. 17.
The following candidates for offices representing Walpole will be running in the September primary election, according to the Secretary of State's website (the were already held this past March).
