Tax Bills Due in Walpole Wednesday Aug. 1
The deadline is 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. Also, a postmark is not proof of timely payment.

From the town website:
The fiscal year 2013 first quarter preliminary real estate and personal property tax bills were mailed on June 19, 2012. The first quarter bill is a preliminary tax for fiscal year 2013. If you have not received a bill for your property, please call the Tax Collector’s office to have a duplicate mailed to you.
State law requires that the tax bill must be mailed to the owner of record as of January 1, 2012. If you purchased your property after January 1, 2012, please be aware that the tax bill may be forwarded to the previous owner by the United States Postal Service. You should call the Tax Collector’s office to have a copy of the bill mailed to you so that you can pay the bill by the due date.

Tax payments are due in the Tax Collector’s Office by Wednesday, August 1, 2012 by 4:00 PM. If you intend to mail your payment, please allow ample time for Postal Service delivery. A postmark is not proof of timely payment.

- Tuesday, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Friday from 7:00 AM to Noon
