Waltham Lottery Player Wins $1 Million Powerball Prize
One California lottery player won the $1.08 billion jackpot, but a Waltham player also came away with a decent chunk of change.
WALTHAM, MA — No Massachusetts resident is the winner of the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot, that honor was bestowed upon a California lottery player.
However, three lottery players in the Bay State — including one from Waltham — took home $1 million in winnings.
According to Massachusetts lottery results, a lottery player in Waltham won a $1 million prize from a ticket sold at Global Montello.
