1 Dead In Waltham Shooting, DA Investigating
One person is dead after an early morning shooting on Lyman Street in Waltham on Monday. An investigation is ongoing.

WALTHAM, MA — An investigation is underway after one man was shot and killed on Lyman Street early Monday morning.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Waltham Chief of Police Kevin O'Connell have confirmed the ongoing investigation into the shooting which took place around 1:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police responded to Lyman Street in the area of Faneuil Road for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police located a man outside on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Life-saving measures were performed on the scene and the victim was transported to Lahey Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
