UPDATED: Fire Destroys Waltham Laundromat

Crews responded to the 3-alarm fire at a building on Moody Street, which houses Bubbles Laundry.

WALTHAM, MA - A fire destroyed a laundry and severely damaged a convenience store in Waltham on Sunday afternoon.

Fire crews responded around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday to a fire in a building on Moody Street.

According to online reports, a second alarm was called to 750 Moody St., a four business building that houses Bubbles Laundry.

A third alarm was called shortly thereafter, and the fire destroyed the laundry, with smoke pouring out of the store when firefighters arrived. The South Street Convenience Store was also heavily damaged.
