3 Things To Do In Waltham This Weekend: May 19, 20

It may be a bit rainy this weekend, but there are still some fun things to do around the city.

WALTHAM, MA — Hi there, folks. Wondering what to do this weekend? Well, here are a few ideas to get you inspired from a blues jam at the Waltham Land Trust to the annual Youth Baseball parade and tournament to the carnival!

Saturday, May 19: 11 a.m. UPDATE: This has been cancelled again.

The Waltham Youth Baseball annual parade was slated for May 12 but it has been rescheduled to Saturday.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m. Watch for the little leaguers marching down from South Street, as they take a left at Dartmouth and through the gates into left field of Nipper. As they head into the tournament.

The second annual Waltham Lions Family Carnival

  • Thurs, Friday May 16-18 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 19 from noon to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 20 from noon to 10 p.m.

There will be rides, games, prizes, food, free parking & more!


Waltham Land Trust Green Space Blues Jam

Saturday, May 19 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Waltham's primary environmental non-profit group, invites residents to its 14th Annual Green Space Blues Jam on Saturday, May 19 at the Hobbs Brook facility located at 175 Wyman St, Waltham. This year, local blues and jazz guitarist Michael Williams has put together an all-star band featuring vocalists Diane Blue and Darrell Nulisch.


What's the weather going to be like?: Friday, Waltham is looking at a high of 58 and Saturday there's a chance of rain and a high of mid 50s, too. Sunday we're back to the warmer weather but once again, that's sprinkled with a chance of a thundershower.

Bring the umbrella.
