AMBER Alert Suspect Arraigned in Boston
The suspect accused of fleeing Pennsylvania with her sick infant on Friday will be arraigned in Boston.

The woman accused of fleeing Pennsylvania with her sick infant son, leading police searching in Waltham, and ultimately Boston Children’s Hospital, on Friday night, was arraigned in Boston on Monday.
Tiffany Cherry, 36, from Wilkes Barre, PA, was arraigned as a fugitive from justice on warrants out of PA, reports CBS Local, adding that Cherry’s attorney is arguing that the charges are “blown out of proportion.”
Cherry’s son, Quavai, is in the custody of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, and bail was set at $250.

Information that was collected suggested that Cherry may have fled to the Waltham area late Friday night, but police ultimately found her at boston Children’s Hospital, where her son was receiving emergency medical treatment. She was arrested, accused of allegedly ignoring directions from medical personnel to get emergency care for her son, who was suffering from severe dehydration.
Among the conditions set by the judge includes that Cherry must surrender herself in Pennsylvania on a warrant, reports NECN.
