Meet your neighbors and other birders tonight, January 16th, at the Waltham Library. At 7:30pm, the Waltham Land Trust will hold its Duck Walk Warm Up, a preview of winter waterfowl expected to be seen on January 27, the date of our annual Duck Walk. Slides, photos, and handouts of common and hooded mergansers, wood ducks, ringed necks, golden eyes, coots, and all the others will be reviewed so that you can easily identify visiting birds with us on the 27th (10 am, Shaw's parking lot) or on your own duck walk!
