Beaver Street to Close This Week

Contractors continue with the Beaver Street culvert replacement project this week.

Weather permitting, Beaver Street will be fully closed to traffic on Wednesday night, April 29.

The city engineer posted the following update on Thursday:

-The Contractor installed the cofferdam on the north side of the Culvert today. They have cut a tooth in it to allow some water to pass while they complete preparation for the full road closure. Then when ready, they will put it back in place.

-The Diversion pipe is also active. They plan to have a delivery of precast concrete sections of the Culvert starting tomorrow.
