Bentley Football Will Open 2023 Season Against West Chester
The matchup is scheduled for Sept. 2 at home in Waltham. Here's what to know ahead of the 2023 season.

WALTHAM, MA — First-year head coach Saj Thakkar and the Bentley University football team get the 2023 season underway at home against West Chester University on Saturday, September 2 as part of a 10-game slate.
Thakkar and the Falcons have an even split of five home and five away games. The Northeast-10 Conference schedule has seven games on it and Bentley’s first conference game is at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Bentley’s first two contests this season are at home. Following the opener against West Chester, they welcome in Northeast-10 rival University of New Haven on Saturday, Sept. 9 for a non-conference tilt. The Falcons then head out on the road for the first time to take on Post University on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Beginning with the NE10 opener against Southern Connecticut, the Falcons play all conference games the rest of the way. A visit to Saint Anselm College on Saturday, Oct. 7 follows the date with the Owls.

Bentley then hosts Pace University for its Falcon Weekend game on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 3:00 PM. Games at American International on Saturday the 21st and home against Franklin Pierce on the 28th close out October.
November begins with the final regular season home game on Saturday the 4th against Assumption University, which will be the team’s Senior Day. A visit to New Haven for a second matchup of the year with the Chargers closes out the regular season on Saturday the 11th.
Bentley, 7-3 last season, owns a 21-5 record since midway through the 2019 season.
