Bentley University Diver Nominated For NCAA Woman Of The Year

Former Bentley diver Mary Huminski is Bentley University's nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award.

WALTHAM, MA — Former Bentley University diving standout Mary Huminski (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand HS), a six-time Northeast-10 Conference champion, is Bentley University’s nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award. She was previously nominated for both the NE10 Woman of the Year and NE10 Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Huminski, Bentley’s 2022-23 Outstanding Female Senior Athlete and a third-team College Sports Communicators Academic All-America selection, was unbeaten in the Northeast-10 Championships throughout her collegiate career. She captured both the one-meter and three-meter diving events annually as a freshman, junior and senior. The championships were not contested in 2021 due to the pandemic.

This past February, Huminski’s winning scores were 425.80 off the one-meter board and 414.25 from the three-meter. She was also selected to participate in the NCAA Division II qualifying meet.

Huminski was honored as both the Northeast-10 Women’s Diver of the Year and the Northeast-10 Women’s Diver of the Championship in 2020, 2022 and 2023.

Huminski was also a standout in the classroom as a management major. She worked as a resident assistant, was one of the team’s captains and spoke at Bentley’s Senior Showcase before commencement.
