Bentley University Student Tests Positive For Coronavirus
University officials are notifying people who may have been in close contact with the student.

WALTHAM, MA — A Bentley University tested positive for the coronavirus, the first positive test since students returned to campus earlier this month.
In an email sent to students and faculty, school officials said they are notifying anyone who may have been in close contact with the student. Those who came in contact will be required to quarantine, while the student that tested positive was isolated.
"We expected positive cases during the onboarding process as thousands of students returned to campus, and over the summer we did a great deal of planning to ensure those who tested positive would be isolated and taken care of in a safe environment," Geoffrey Bartlett, the university's emergency management director, said in a statement. "As the fall term progresses, we'll continue to share all test results daily on our COVID-19 dashboard and I will include brief updates in my weekly newsletter."
