Best Spots In Waltham To Go Trick-Or-Treating

We asked folks in Waltham where the best spots were, here's what they had to say.

WALTHAM, MA — Each year on all Hallow's Eve ghosts, goblins, dinosaurs and robots take over Waltham and promise to be good if only they're paid off with some sweet stuff.

But where's the best spot to go? We put that question to Waltham Patch Facebook fans, and they had some pretty strong opinions on this (ahem) serious matter.

Warrendale was the most popular spot, by far.

Folks specifically mentioned Bringham Road, and Morton Street near Brandeis.

Kristen McCarthy Walsh indicated Charlotte Road might be the, um, sweet spot.

She said she had 15 bags of candy at her home last year and ran out by 8 p.m.

"I have 18 bags of candy on Charlotte Road!," she posted. "Warrendale is the Halloween capital of Waltham!"

Others mentioned across the street from Warrendale Rangely Acres, had some good spots. And upper Bacon Street, was another good spot.

"Used to be Pigeon Hill. also Blossom and Milner street used to be a pretty decent area. All the houses are close together," said Susan Wilson.

Folks promised to be out handing out candy on Ceaderwood and others said the same for Charles Street.
