Brandeis University Ranks Among College Factual's Best Colleges for Diversity
Brandeis made this nationwide list, naming it one of the most diverse in the country.

Brandeis University ranked at 129 among the best colleges for diversity nationwide by College Factual, a source that uses customizable tools and outcomes-based rankings systems to guide students through the college selection process.
A number of factors were used to determine the diversity ranking, according to the announcement, which includes both research universities and liberal arts colleges. The overall diversity ranking factors into account the ethnic diversity of the students, male to female ratio, and geographic origin, including number of international students.

In addition to Brandeis University’s placement in Overall Diversity, the institution also scored well in Top Location Diversity, earning a 138 spot out of 1768.
“We publish a variety of college rankings to get students and parents focused on key factors they need to consider when choosing a school,” says Bill Phelan, CEO of College Factual, in a statement. “We encourage students to ask tough questions about what’s important to them individually.”

College Factual’s ranking system is based on a series of algorithms that include information from the Department of Education, nationally mandated data reporting for institutions, and Payscale.
