The Community Day Center of Waltham

The Community Day Center of Waltham (CDCW) is the only drop-in day shelter in the Metrowest region serving adults experiencing chronic homelessness—those who have been unhoused for at least a year.

CDCW meets the needs of this population through a low-barrier, trauma-informed model that emphasizes trust, accessibility, and long-term support. We operate as a drop-in center—no appointments, ID, or other requirements—ensuring services are available to those who are often excluded elsewhere.
