We’ll watch the film, stir up stories and encourage conversations, and have several free raffle items to give away!
Mother/daughter discussion guide included for you to use or take with you. Suggested age 10–14 years old, and all girls must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
$35/pair tickets can be purchased here: https://wellgirl.myflodesk.com/judyblumeevents
Sharing the stories from the book or screening the movie adaptation together provides a valuable opportunity for intimate and meaningful mother/daughter connection—sparking conversations about the changes and challenges that come with adolescence. The movie is hosted by wellgirl, a local-to-Waltham girls’ wellness community offering programs and products that support and empower girls (mostly tweens) toward feelings of wellness, from the inside out. wellgirl would like to thank and showcase the following sponsors who have generously donated gift entrances and/or raffle items: GirlFit (physical therapy for girls) in Newton. Tween Magazine (a quarterly publication for girls aged 8-12), Books and Books (Judy Blume’s Key West bookshop) and the list keeps building!
