Get outside and embrace all the elements this SPRING by learning how to shoot a bow and arrow at the historic Gore Place Estate! 
Join us Sunday from 12:00 - 1:30 PM for a fun and entertaining introduction to archery and reconnect with your inner Katniss or Robin Hood.&nbsp;
All coaching and equipment is provided by our team of instructors who will have you laughing, smiling and maybe even weeping with tears of joy as you strike the bull's eye and relive all those childhood memories of archery - or create new ones for the first time.

Support the mission of the <a href="https://walthamlandtrust.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Waltham Land Trust</a>, our community's primary environmental non-profit group, by bidding on items in their <a href="https://secure.walthamlandtrust.org/np/clients/walthamlandtrust/event.jsp?event=3790" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">online silent auction</a>, which runs Wednesday, May 13th, through Sunday, May 17, including during/at the Green Space Blues Jam Gala on Friday, May 15. 

Items so far include one-of-a-kind artwork, handcrafted scarves, delicious homemade food including granola and baked goods, lots of gift cards, tickets to Red Sox games, and a whale watching adventure on the Cape.

Money raised will help the Waltham Land Trust continue creating a legacy of land conservation, outfitting their volunteer trail stewards with supplies, and teaching people of all ages about the benefits of spending time outdoors.

Join Dr. Katherine Gergen Barnett, family medicine physician, nationally recognized health equity leader, and trusted voice on the future of American health care, for a powerful and reflective talk on what hospice teaches us about caring for one another when it matters most. Drawing on decades of leadership in whole-person care, equity, and health system reform, as well as her personal experience with Good Shepherd Community Care during her father, Commentator and former White House Communications Director,&nbsp;David Gergen's&nbsp;final year, Dr. Gergen Barnett will explore how compassion, trust, and community can transform the patient and family experience and guide us toward a more humane and just health care system.

Musical selections include "Barso Re" from India by A.R. Rahman, "Doluri (Drum Dance)" from the Republic of George, "MI-YO-TA" from Japan, "Llwyn Onn" a Welsh Folk Song arr. by D. Owens, "Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce, and "Shenandoah" by J. Erb from America.&nbsp;

Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. SFD faculty and students are active partners in our local community, collaborating regularly with organizations and businesses through internships, exhibitions, field trips, and special events. Our reputation for excellence is on display each time our students show their work at fashion shows and exhibits throughout the year. With an SFD Certificate in Fashion Design, our alumni have enjoyed fashion careers with Adidas, Coldwater Creek, J.
