About Our Community
Friends Beyond Boston – Waltham Social (20s–40s) is a local community built around genuine connection, small events, and welcoming spaces where people can actually get to know each other.
We put a lot of care into creating a friendly, intentional environment, both at events and between them.
We’re a community-led group, which means members are welcome (never required) to host or cohost simple events with support, it’s how we keep things fun, varied, and shaped by the people who make this community special.

About this event:
Waltham Pride’s annual festival is back for its fifth year!
🌈Join us on Sunday, June 14 from 12–4 PM at Waltham Common for a day filled with music, drag performances, community speakers, food, and celebration.
We’re excited to share that our group will have a table at Waltham Pride this year for the first time 🎉
We’ll be there connecting with new people, sharing what we do, and representing our community, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Whether you’re part of the group or an ally, showing up matters.
Community events like this are a powerful way to support LGBTQIA+ visibility, connection, and belonging in Waltham.
Feel free to stop by our table, say hello, and help us build something meaningful together.
💛🌈 After the festival, feel free to also check out the Waltham Pride Poetry Open Mic (4–5 PM at the Waltham Museum), just a short walk from the Common, for more community celebration.

Aside from street parking, some lots are: Central Square Parking Lot, Embassy Lot, Crescent St Lot, Spruce St Lot, Walnut and Chestnut St Lots (there are many more close to the Waltham Common)Parking is free on Sundays.
