The year is 1788. Abigail and John Adams have just returned from Europe, where John has served as an American envoy to France and then to England. When greeted with the news that the new United States' Constitution has finally been ratified and that the first Presidential election is at hand, Abigail looks back over her life at the center of the inspiring and challenging events that led to the creation of this new nation.
Experience Abigail’s memories of her inspiring relationship with John that began with playful love letters from a young lawyer sending kisses to his "Miss Adorable," and developed into the extraordinary partnership between two sharp and visionary political minds that helped to shape a young nation.

<h1>Weaving on a Loom</h1>
<h2>Saturday, July 25 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.</h2>
Join us in our Carriage House on Saturday, July 25, for an extended 3-hour Traditional Skills Workshop* and try your hand at weaving on a loom! Each participant will create 4 woven coasters (aka “mug rugs”).
Weaving expert Beth Guertin of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.aplacetoweave.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">A Place to Weave</a>&nbsp;will guide you in how to use a four-shaft loom to weave at least 32 inches of the warp into multiple twill patterns and a plain weave. After the workshop, Beth will bring the weaving home to do the final felting and cutting process, then return the mug rugs to Gore Place the following Saturday to be picked up at your convenience.
All supplies will be provided.
Space is limited, so make sure to reserve your spot!
