Waltham Open Studios 50th Anniversary

WALTHAM, MA – Waltham Open Studios will celebrate its 50th anniversary on November 7 and 8, 2026, welcoming the public from 12–5 PM both Saturday and Sunday. More than 75 Waltham artists will open their studio doors, inviting thousands of visitors to experience the city’s vibrant and diverse arts community.

For five decades, Waltham Open Studios has connected artists with the community, offering the public a unique opportunity to step inside artists’ workspaces and see creativity in action. Visitors can explore work in progress, watch demonstrations, discover new artists and ideas, and purchase original artwork directly from the artists who create it.

The weekend brings together artists, arts professionals, art enthusiasts, families, writers, musicians, curators, collectors, and creatives of all kinds. Participating artists will showcase a wide range of original work, including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, fiber and textiles, jewelry and small metals, photography, installation, and film/video.

Live demonstrations, performances, and workshops will take place throughout the weekend at studios and gallery locations on Moody Street, providing visitors with opportunities to engage with artists and learn more about their creative processes.
