Small Business Saturday is Nov. 25. We want to hear about the small businesses in town.
WALTHAM, MA — Small Business Saturday is designed to celebrate and call attention to local businesses that make up the fabric of our communities. This year, consumers are asked to "Shop Small" on Saturday, Nov. 25.
In 2010, with a sluggish economy kicking small businesses right in the keister, American Express launched Small Business Saturday on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, to help bring more holiday shopping to small businesses.
It worked, and the tradition continues.
