Carl's Steak Subs in Waltham Featured on 'Phantom Gourmet'

WALTHAM, MA – Phantom Gourmet stopped by Carl's Steak Subs this week to profile the Waltham restaurant's jam-packed sandwiches.

The show highlights some of New England's finest eateries, and they couldn't resist "steak and cheese heaven" on Prospect Street.

And if you think Carl's is a Waltham secret, it's apparently not a very well-kept one. Some commenters on Phantom Gourmet's page say they've driven from Mansfield, Wareham and elsewhere to get their hands on a steak and cheese sub.
