Cedarwood Neighborhood Sewer Project Begins
An old and worn out sewer system gets a much needed update.

A meeting informing the Cedarwood Neighborhood of the sewer project for the area took place this week, with an update posted on a Facebook page for the neighborhood.
“The project is happening because the system is ancient and leaking into the ground and is a health issue,” said the post.
The project is beginning this week, starting on Florence Street. All the streets involved will be dug up, sewers repaired and patched. After the project is done, the roads will be resurfaced.

“If any damage is done to your line, the city will be responsible for fixing it. But replacing the line to the house will only happen if the owner has it done. If you want to know if that line needs work the city engineering office will come out to examine it.”
