Cocaine Trafficking, Intent To Murder: 4 Waltham Related Grand Jury Indictments

WALTHAM, MA — Four people were handed indictments for offences, including cocaine trafficking, breaking and entering, cocaine possession with intent to distribute, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon with intent to murder, that took place in Waltham between April 13 and May 30, 2017, the District Attorney's office announced today. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Viterbo Enrique-Minaya, 30, of Waltham, was charged with trafficking cocaine, distribution of a Class B substance (4 counts), and furnishing a false name. The Assistant District Attorney is Caitlin Gemmill.

Jason Gantt, 47, was charged with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime to commit a felony, larceny over $250, larceny from a building, possession of burglarious tools, and being a common and notorious thief (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Julie Kunkel.

Richard Gillis, 53, of Boston, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Nils Lundblad.

Ping Hong, 32, of Waltham, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury (2 counts), armed assault with intent to murder, armed assault in a dwelling, assault and battery, mayhem, and violating a restraining order (7 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Carrie Spiros.
