College Scholarship: RTN Credit Union Accepting Essays

WALTHAM, MA - The RTN Federal Credit Union in Waltham is accepting applications for the Massachusetts Credit Union League’s annual college scholarship essay contest.

The Cooperative Credit Union Association will be awarding six $1,000 prizes to high school seniors who will be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program during the 2015-2016 academic year.

RTN will accept entries from qualified students who are RTN members in good standing or have a parent or guardian who is a member in good standing. The credit union will send the best entries in to be judged in the contest.

Applicants who wish to apply must submit an essay of 250 words or fewer addressing, “a person or event that has been an inspiration to you, and how it has affected you and your outlook on life.” Applicants must also complete an application form and send in academic transcripts of their grades.
