Coming Soon: New Online Resource for Waltham Voters
"Watch City Voters Project" designed to improve local voter engagement by making candidates and elections process more accessible.

One of my campaign planks while seeking nomination for City Councillor, Ward 6, was to prioritize voter engagement. To me, this means ensuring more of our neighbors register to vote, come out to the polls, and make informed choices for their representatives. I believe we can achieve these outcomes with a reinvigorated enthusiasm and some outside-of-the-box strategizing. As a typical libertarian, I also believe that we should not need to wait for the government to provide critical services in our neighborhoods. We just need an idea and a few volunteers to spark a movement.
From this sentiment birthed the “Watch City Voters Project (WCVP).” This project is meant to be an accessible, comprehensive, and trustworthy service for Waltham voters. Owned and operated by local residents, WCVP will compile information from the City’s website, the State’s website, and those of other elections-related organizations. It will then publish this material in a single online portal.
Imperative to this venture is to keep the information applicable to Waltham. The only candidates featured on this website will be those who will appear on the City’s ballots. Additionally, WCVP will engage these candidates for (a.) electronic responses to your submitted concerns and questions and for (b.) personal appearances at local venues, so that you may have an opportunity to meet each office seeker.

Further, I intend for the project to be especially active with elections on the horizon. WCVP will guide Waltham residents how to register and where to vote, assisting with the coordination of transportation if needed. No resident should feel excluded from the election process. It is your right to participate, and the Watch City Voters Project will help you exercise that right.
A team effort is necessary to make this dream a reality. While I plan to complete the working prototype of WCVP, I will need help to maintain it. Please contact me if you want to join the cause!
