WALTHAM, MA -- As part of our Waltham police statistics series, Patch compares statistics in crime from 2014 to 2015.
The following information was taking from the “Big Report” provided by Waltham police.
There were 83 aggravated assaults investigated in 2014, saying exactly the same in 2015, with 83.

There were nine forcible rapes recorded in 2014, rising to 12 in 2015.
Three murders/negligent manslaughter incidents were recorded in 2014, compared to none reported in 2025 on the “Big Report.”
