Donate Books for 'Children's Book Month' in Waltham
Drop off your books that are in good shape for kids at RTN Federal Credit Union locations.

April is “Children’s Book Month” and RTN Federal Credit Union is joining with credit unions in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island in an annual book drive to benefit children in need.
According to a press release, as part of the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s Community Hope Initiative, RTN members can drop off new or gently used children’s books through April 30 at the Credit Union’s branches in Amesbury, Brookline, Danvers, Dorchester, Marlborough, Tewksbury and Waltham.
These books are collected and then distributed by the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless in cooperation with the Community Hope Initiative. Since 2001, more than 250,000 have been donated.
The book drive celebrates the value of reading as a pathway for children and young adolescents to gain knowledge, succeed in school, and understand the world, said the release.
