Driver Dies In Waltham Rollover Crash

WALTHAM, MA — One person has died after a Sunday crash in Waltham, police announced on Monday.

First responders were on the scene on Sunday at about 11:45 p.m. after a reported rollover crash on High Street.

The Waltham Fire Department extricated two people from the single-car crash and they were both transported to the Lahey Clinic, police said.

Officials said the driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. The passenger suffered serious injuries, but they aren't life-threatening.

Waltham police and the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office are investigating the crash.
