Waltham resident, Robert Kaulfuss and his family, will be participating in the 2011 Northeast Sustainable Energy Association’s Green Building Open House on October 1. The Kaulfuss family will be opening their home and displaying their 4.3kW solar array. Participants in the tour will have the opportunity to talk with the Kaulfuss family and representatives of Sunlight Solar, ask questions, and see how photovoltaic systems actually work.
GBOH operates in conjunction with the American Solar Energy Society's (ASES) National Solar Tour and helps to kick off National Energy Awareness Month. The goal of the GBOH event is to enable participants to see, firsthand, energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements in their communities and assist them to adopt similar solutions for their own homes.
