The Walk for Hunger is an annual tradition and a rite of spring in Massachusetts! Join a community of over 40,000 caring friends and neighbors, and raise money for those struggling to make ends meet.
Walkers are invited to walk all or just part of the 20-mile route. Not interested in walking? Volunteers are needed throughout the route to help with a variety of jobs to keep Walkers safe and happy.

There is no required registration fee and no fundraising minimum, but all Walkers and Volunteers are encouraged to raise as much as they can to help our neighbors in need. Heart & Sole participants are a special group of Walkers and Volunteers who pledge to raise at least $500 each to help those in need.
The money raised through The Walk for Hunger will help Project Bread fund hunger relief and prevention through 450 emergency programs, schools, community health centers, farmers’ markets, community suppers, home care organizations, and other programs that protect the individual and strengthen our community’s food security. Last year alone, Project Bread was able to provide 65.2 million meals to hungry people.
