Temple Beth Israel of Waltham will be hosting a special Father’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, June 19th at 10 am. David L. Smith, President of the Civil War Round Table of Greater Boston, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Smith is a resident of Waltham, MA.
He will highlight the lives of American Jews who served on both sides of the American Civil War. He will discuss how the Jewish Southern rebels fought the South but were not the proponents of slavery. He will highlight Jewish Civil War heroes.
