The Waltham American Legion Band PROUDLY presents their annual Dot Slamin Hill Scholarship Fundraiser Concert and Turkey Dinner on Monday, October 15, 2012 upstairs at Legion Post #156. At 6:00PM Turkey, veggies, potatoes, coffee and dessert will be served for a $10 donation (all tickets will be sold at the door). At 6:30PM the world-famous Waltham Legion Band will perform a one hour concert for your listening pleasure.
This scholarship is given on an annual basis to a Waltham High School student who qualifies and will be pursuing a college program in music, as Dot was a great supporter of the musical arts. In June of 2012, Frederick Malesevic of Waltham became our newest winner. Come to the concert - and you can support next years' winner of the scholarship!
