This day will begin by exploring Attachment Theory, an understanding of the impact that is active in our lives. Attachment is an emotional bond to another person. Attachments are a “lasting psychological connectedness between human beings”. Another important implication of attachment research is that it’s possible to develop a secure state of mind as an adult, even in the face of a difficult childhood. Remember, as adults that you may have some difficult memories of your own. One of the characteristics is avoidant attachment styles tend to have adults with difficulty in intimacy & close relationships.
