
Japanese Tea Ceremony & Green Tea
Tasting
An authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony by Ms. Kate Finnegan of Kaji Aso Studio of Boston will be held free of charge on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 7:00pm in the auditorium of McDevitt Middle School, 75 Church Street, Waltham, MA. Following the tea ceremony there will be a complementary tea tasting of Harney & Sons Japanese Sencha and other green teas.
Meet and chat with Kate Finnegan, Director of Kaji Aso Studio, Harney New England representative, Arnie Gitter of Gitter Associates, and Sally Collura of The Tea Leaf of Waltham.
There will be time for questions about Japanese Tea
Ceremony and health benefits of green tea while sampling green tea.
This free special event is made possible in part through a grant from the Waltham Cultural Council, The Waltham Arts Council, The Waltham West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, and The Tea Leaf.
Tickets are FREE and available at The Tea Leaf, 487 Moody Street, Waltham, Wednesday through Sunday, 11:30am to 5:00pm or send a SASE with number of tickets requested to The Tea Leaf.
There is ample parking at the school and the facility is handicapped
accessible.
