Open House: Want to Teach?

The MAT Program invites you to an Open House on campus on Thursday, February 16th (morning, afternoon, or whole day—lunch provided!, elementary, middle and high school interest). This is a great opportunity to sit in on one of our terrific classes, meet some of our outstanding faculty, visit with current students, some of the warmest and most interesting people you’ll ever meet. Click here for the full schedule. You can also get individual advising from one of our lead faculty. RSVP.

We can help you become a bold and creative teacher at the elementary or secondary (middle and high school) level. If your passion is public education and its democratic mission, we have the program for you. If you are called to teach in the day school world, we have the program for you.

In the Brandeis MAT you will find a year-long teaching internship, dedicated mentor teachers and exciting urban, suburban, and day schools, a cohort structure for a true learning community, and high quality faculty attention. We will challenge you intellectually and practically, we will ask you to take risks, and we will support you while you do. If the Open House schedule doesn’t work for you, we invite you to schedule a personal visit or phone consultation.

Generous scholarship support is available.
