MTW is hosting a community screening of the documentary, "Coexist," We will be screening 2 videos: a very short film on the history of the genocide in Rwanda, and then a 30 minute film on the reconciliation process Rwandans have been working through since the genocide.
Following the screening, a conversation about reconciliations, reparations, community, and self-efficacy will be led by our youth and Coexist curriculum creator, Mishy Lesser. This event is a wonderful opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion about a historical event and universal struggles around how human beings grieve, repair, and move their lives forward.
