Steve Taddeo Swings at Waltham Farmers’ Market

Drummer Steve Taddeo and his band are popular on the Watch City performing circuit and have frequently been featured at the Farmers' Market and Concerts on the Common. The band plays a variety of Big Band, swing and Dixieland tunes. It features the music of Benny Goodman, Claude Hopkins, Fletcher Henderson, Chick Webb, Gene Krupa and other greats from the swing and Big Band era. Taddeo has played with many Big Band and jazz bands in the area and has also performed with Jay Giels, Jerry Beaudoin and guitar legend Bucky Pizzerelli.

The market is held rain or shine, and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Saturday through November 5. The Sovereign Bank parking lot is wheelchair-accessible, and is located at the intersection of Main and Moody, opposite the Waltham Common. The lot can be reached by car from Main Street or Charles Street.
