The Two-State Solution: Is it Still Relevant? Debating Israel and Palestine

Join us for an exciting panel discussion to celebrate the release of the Crown Center's new book by Prof. Asher Susser, Israel, Jordan, and Palestine: The Two-State Imperative(Brandeis University Press, 2012). Dr. Ahmad Khalidi and Dr. Robert Malley will join Prof. Susser to explore the viability of the two-state solution and possible scenarios for the future of Israeli-Palestinian relations. 

Panelists:

Ahmad Khalidi is a Senior Associate Member of St Antony's College, Oxford, a former Palestinian negotiator and the co-author, with Hussein Agha, of A Framework for a Palestinian National Security Doctrine.

Dr. Robert Malley is Program Director for Middle East and North Africa at the International Crisis Group. From 1998-2001 he was Special Assistant to President Bill Clinton for Arab-Israeli Affairs.

Asher Susser is Associate Professor of Middle East Studies at Tel Aviv University. He served four terms as the Director of the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies. In 2007-8 and 2009-10 he was Senior Fellow on the Myra and Robert Kraft Chair in Arab Politics at the Crown Center.
