Help build a new trail between Trapelo Road and the recently improved network in Lot 1. This will complete the Western Greenway section from Mass Audubon Habitat in Belmont through Rock Meadow, Beaver Brook North Reservation, Lot 1 and the Shady's Pond Conservation Area to just north of Bishops Forest Condominiums in Waltham. We will meet at 8:30 am at the eastern edge of the parking lot (alongside last year's trail installation) of Our Lady Church, 920 Trapelo Road, and will continue until the work is done. The trail work is across Trapelo Road from the existing trailhead. Pizza lunch will be provided if we work into the afternoon. No experience necessary, tools and instruction provided. Please bring your own work gloves and water bottles. Cosponsored by Friends of Beaver Brook Reservation, Lexington Conservation Stewards, Waltham Land Trust, New England Mountain Bike Association, and Mass Audubon Habitat.
