Yoga for Anxiety and Depression

 Through mindful postures and breathing techniques, you will find a new way to balance emotions and reconnect with the mind-body complex, balancing the nervous system in an integrative and holistic way. In these two hours, you will learn how to access your body to balance emotions and carry a therapeutic practice home. Ana Renno dos Mares Guia is the owner and head teacher of Divya Jyoti Yoga Studio in Brookline. She has practiced yoga since she was 14 years old and, since then, has practiced and taught yoga in Brazil, India and USA. She has extensive experience in yoga therapy applied to mental health, with a Master's from Lesley University in Yoga Psychology with specialization on eating disorders' recovery. Currently, she runs a busy practice, training mental health professionals and, in her private practice, assisting students to live life in a more peaceful and integrative way.
