Fancy Footing: Clarks Moves Headquarters to Waltham

Clarks Americas, the well-known footwear maker, is moving from Newton Upper Falls to Waltham at 1265 Main St., which is the former Polaroid building.

The Boston Business Journal reported that Clarks Americas is renovating the former Polaroid building, which is a 120,000-square-foot, four-story structure.

Geralyn Breig, president of Clarks Americas, told the Business Journal that it’s a “very vibrant organization, and so what we needed was a space that could continue to be very inspirational to our people, and have a really positive energy.”

Boston Properties is the main developer, and already has three other properties at Citypoint: 77 Fourth Ave., 230 Third Ave. and 500 Totten Pond Road.
