Today: Final Cops & Cones of the Summer in Waltham

WALTHAM, MA – "Cops & Cones" is returning to Waltham one last time this summer, following the success of the events in June and July.

Join officers today at Pizzi Farm, where you'll have the opportunity to grab a cone with the men and women who protect and serve the Waltham community. Ask questions, share what's on your mind or just get to know the members of the police department.

"Cops & Cones" is a spinoff of the "Coffee With a Cop" program. According to the "Coffee With a Cop" website, the initiative began in Hawthorne, CA in 2011 and has since spread to more than 3,000 communities nationwide. The purpose of the program is to establish a dialogue between police and the communities they serve.

Don't miss out on this great summer event today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pizzi Farm, 549 Lincoln St. in Waltham.
