Fire on Moody Street Deemed Arson; Reward Offered

A fire at 226 Moody St. in Waltham on Wednesday was determined to be arson, confirmed the Massachusetts State Fire Marshal’s office.

The fire, which occurred in a building that used to house Anderson Florist, was intentionally set under a rear wooden extension step, said the Fire Marshal’s office spokesperson Jennifer Mieth.

The damage is estimated at $200K.
